Millicent E. Taffe is a singer-songwriter raised in Brixton, South London. She had the opportunity to experience one of the best musical eras in the British capital, as she was really at the right place, at the right time when Lovers Rock was exploding! While she was still in school, Millicent joined a group called Simplicity (of which she was one of the founding members). They released a few popular songs that still captivate Lovers Rock and reggae fans to this day! In addition, Millicent’s natural talent for poetry means she has a treasure trove of meaningful lyrics that she turns into inspiring storytelling songs.
